Biography

I love crafting clever copy just as much as I love analyzing data for proven results. I’m a people-person, able to disseminate complex data into bite-sized bits of knowledge. I set ambitious goals and reach them with a down-to-earth, detail-oriented approach.

I have an open-minded, adaptable, and creative approach to matching needs and solving problems. My cross-cultural upbringing has aided me in this regard – I’ve lived across the globe, hopping from Singapore, Jakarta, Saigon, Kuala Lumpur, Denver, Miami, and Houston, to finally settle in Seattle.

I began my writing journey as editor, then senior editor, of Take Magazine. At the University of Miami, I continued my love for publishing by joining as a writer and design editor for Distraction Magazine.

Immediately after my first advertising course, I found a love for copywriting. The brevity & snappy wit required for killer copy drew me in and hasn’t let go. I spent a stint in Anchorage, Alaska, working with the wonderfully creative Spawn Ideas, Inc. Upon returning to Miami, I copy-wrote & launched a full-scale rebranding campaign for local Miami company Pasion Del Cielo.

Post-graduation, I entered into the delightful realm of digital marketing. Chair 10 took me on as an intern, then an associate. I comfortably manage multiple SEO projects for dozens of clients, creating fresh content to improve their site rankings and engage potential customers.

Sample 1: Engineered Hardwood vs. Solid Hardwood: Comparing Pros & Cons

Solid hardwood or engineered hardwood: which is the best option for your Cayce home? While solid hardwood was once considered the only “true” hardwood option, engineered hardwood now accounts for the majority of wood floors. [franchise_location_name] is proud to bring both solid and engineered hardwood to Cayce homeowners. To help you make the best choice for your home, we’ve compared the pros and cons of each!

Manufacturing

Solid hardwood is created from a solid piece of wood, as the name suggests. Engineered hardwood is crafted from both plywood and hardwood. The top layer of engineered hardwood is real hardwood, while the center and bottom layers are made of plywood. These layers are bonded together using extreme pressure.

Appearance

Engineered hardwood and solid hardwood are identical from an outside perspective. The top layer of engineered hardwood is crafted from real wood, which makes it indistinguishable from solid hardwood. Both solid and engineered hardwood will provide the same natural beauty and warmth to your home.

Durability

Solid hardwood and engineered hardwood are durable options for your home. When it comes to standing up to daily wear-and-tear, both options are evenly matched.

Engineered hardwood is more water-resistant than solid hardwood, which makes it better suited for rooms with high humidity or the potential for water exposure. The plywood layers of engineered hardwood give it more stability, which means that engineered hardwood is less prone to warping or twisting.

Price

Engineered hardwood is more affordable than solid hardwood. The cost per plank of engineered hardwood is lower than solid hardwood, and installation costs are typically lower as well. Solid hardwood often needs to be nailed to the subfloor, which is a time-consuming and labor-intensive installation method. Engineered hardwood can be installed using a variety of simpler methods. For example, engineered hardwood can be installed as a floating floor, where each plank locks together seamlessly and no adhesives are necessary.

Lifetime Value

Both solid hardwood and engineered hardwood will add value to your home. Engineered hardwood is crafted from real harwood, and can be advertised as such. The only benefit solid hardwood has over engineered hardwood is its ability to be sanded down.

Sample 2: Design Ideas for Functional Walk-In Closets

You have a variety of design options when creating a custom walk-in closet with [business name]. Before considering stylish touches, it’s important to focus on functionality. Everyone has a different lifestyle, and their perfect walk-in closet will be similarly unique. We’re dedicated to creating a closet that’s tailored for your life. To help you get started, we’ve included some popular design features for a functional, organized walk-in closet.

Shelves Above Hanging Areas

Some simple open-faced shelves above hanging areas will give you the perfect spot to store hats, bags, or folded clothes. Having a logical organization to your walk-in closet is important, as it streamlines the everyday task of getting dressed.

Small Drawers With Dividers

Be sure to install some small drawers with dividers for various accessories. These drawers are perfect for jewelry, watches, cufflinks, extra buttons, and more. In an open drawer, jewelry can become tangled and small items lost in corners or forgotten. Having a dedicated drawer for smaller accessories will keep your closet - and life - more organized.

Dedicated Top Shelves For Seldom-Used Items

Shelving installed at the top of your closet will maximize space. These high-level shelves are the perfect spot for seldom-used clothing and accessories. Consider placing out-of-season or specialized gear, such as camping or hiking attire, in these out-of-the-way shelves.

Install a Hamper

Have a larger drawer dedicated to a laundry hamper. Having a hamper on-hand will help you keep your closet neat and your laundry routine streamlined. A hidden hamper will give your closet a cleaner look overall.

Open Shelving Near The Entrance

Install ample open shelving near the closet entrance to maximize efficiency and convenience. A walk-in closet has a lot of space, which can make hunting down the perfect article of clothing or accessory difficult. These open shelves will serve as the perfect spot for daily outfits, accessories, and shoes.

Sample 3: DIY Drain Cleaning Myths

Chances are, sooner or later, you’ll have to deal with a slow-running or completely blocked drain somewhere in your Seattle home. When the time comes, many homeowners turn to the internet for solutions — but sources are rife with drain cleaning myths, and following the wrong advice could lead to a much bigger problem. The experts at [business name] are here to help! Keep reading to discover some of the most common drain cleaning myths, and how seemingly simple solutions could backfire.

Myth: Drain Cleaning is a Simple DIY Project

It’s true that partial drain clogs can often be solved with a plunger or drain-snake. However, for people who don’t know there way around plumbing tools, attempting a DIY solution could be a serious mistake. Not only are home remedies often ineffective, but they can also cause even more damage. Overdoing it with an auger or trying a natural “draining cleaning” formula found online worsen the clog or even harm your pipes — leading to expensive repairs down the line. If you’ve got a major drain clog that needs to be dealt with, and you’re know sure what you’re doing, play it safe and call a professional. Plumbers are always happy to teach you the proper way to use a plunger!

Myth: Chemical Drain Cleaners Are a Substitute for Professional Cleaning

Chemical drain cleaners may seem like an attractive solution - they’re simple, cheap, affordable, and easy to use. While drain cleaners may work on minor clogs, they can also disguise serious issues with your plumbing. For example, your pipes might be clogging because there’s a crack in the line that’s allowing dirt and roots to infiltrate your pipe. Chemical drain cleaners can also be extremely dangerous for homes with children and small pets, and they introduce highly corrosive chemicals to the downstream water supply.

Myth: Slow-Flowing Drains Will Aren’t a Big Deal

So your drain isn’t clogged, it’s just taking longer than it used to. No big deal, right? A lot of homeowners choose to ignore slow-flowing drains as a minor inconvenience rather than dealing with them immediately. However, even if you are dealing with a minor blockage, it will only get worse with time. It’s best to tackle this problem before it gets bigger. Plumbing requires maintenance, and dealing with a slow-flowing drain is an important step in keeping things running smoothly.

Benefits of Bamboo Flooring

Appearance

Bamboo flooring is a beautiful option for your home. Its classic golden-brown color creates a welcoming, airy, and natural vibe for your home.
