Additional interests and experiences: I'm an avid reader, outdoorsman, fiber artist, and cyclist. For the last two years, I've served as a judge for the Sigurd Olson Nature Writing Award. I have also traveled to a number of countries, including but not limited to the United States, Germany, France, Britain, Iceland, Panama, and Peru.
