As a traveling freelancer, I am looking to channel my international experiences into compelling creative content. My journeys have thus far taken me across Europe and South America where I volunteered extensively. In that time, some of my projects included: rural construction; translation; teaching; farming and ranching; office management; and hospice care. Because I often work with others who have a poor command of the English language, I have had to hone my clarity of thought and speech. This broad scope of experience is precisely what makes me well-suited to the task of writing.
Additionally, through a varied work history and rigorous academic training, I have developed strong research skills, an efficient workflow, and clear, incisive prose. My professional writing experience is in the composition of software instruction manuals and safety guidelines for a research and development laboratory specializing in acoustics, electromagnetics, and information sciences. I have also written a successful $10,000 research grant proposal for the University of Texas at Austin, as well as essays on analytic philosophy, culture, history, and politics.
My services are available for both technical and non-technical projects on a short and long-term basis. I am an adaptable writer who can quickly grasp unfamiliar subject matter and as such, welcome all offers.
